School management module
Mark class registers on a tablet or phone, flag absences straight away and book make-up classes. Attendance is one module of Episcript's school management system, with AI alerts for absence patterns.
Built in Singapore for schools, enrichment and tuition centres that take attendance every lesson.
Features
Teachers mark each student present, absent, late or excused on a tablet, phone or laptop, with the class list drawn from enrolment.
Parents request a replacement lesson in the portal, the system offers only classes with a free seat, and the make-up lands on that register.
Lessons on Zoom or Google Meet are marked in the same register as in-person classes, on one timetable.
Parents see each lesson's attendance for their own child and request make-up classes without calling the office.
Attendance rates by student, class, teacher, level and branch for any date range, from the same registers teachers mark.
Today's registers, absences and make-up requests on one screen for the office, alongside enrolment and outstanding fees.
Absences
Absences reach the office as soon as the register is marked. Repeated absences and lateness are flagged on the student record, and each absence shows in the parent portal.
Capability
Built in its own phase on your own attendance records, with staff checking every message before it is sent.
AI flags students with a run of absences or lateness, and classes losing attendance, for a teacher to follow up.
AI drafts a message to the parent of an absent student, for staff to check and send by email or WhatsApp.
Ask which Primary 5 students missed more than three lessons this term, and AI answers from your own records.
How it fits
Attendance is a module of Episcript's School Management System, writing every register to the student record. Tuition centres may find our tuition centre management software a closer fit.
Questions
A student attendance management system records who attended each lesson, flags absences to the office and keeps attendance on each student record. In ours, teachers mark registers on a tablet or phone and parents see attendance in the portal.
Teachers mark the register on any phone, tablet or laptop with a web browser, using the class list drawn from enrolment. Lessons held on Zoom or Google Meet are marked in the same register.
Parents request a make-up in the portal and choose from classes that still have a free seat. The office approves the request, and the make-up lesson appears on that class register for the teacher to mark.
A spreadsheet works for one class, but registers, absence alerts, make-up classes and parent access need a shared system. Your existing attendance history can be imported, so past records stay on each student.
Absences show in the parent portal as soon as the register is marked. Messages by email, SMS or WhatsApp can be added, either sent automatically or drafted for staff to check first.
Each branch takes its own registers, and head office sees attendance rates for every branch, class and teacher on one dashboard. Branch managers see only their own centre.
AI features can be added in their own phase: alerts for runs of absences, answers to attendance questions from your own records, and drafted messages to parents, all checked by staff.
Attendance is a module of our School Management System, drawing class lists from enrolment and feeding performance tracking and the parent portal. Schools usually start with it, alongside enrolment and classes.
Our solutions are eligible for government grants. We explain how the schemes apply to your project and what the agency looks for, so you can budget with the full picture in front of you.
